Mission Australia - Unpacking Your Plan

Mission Australia is an NDIS Partner in the community. They assist famies to engage the NDIS and NDIS plans. Feedback from parents/carers after the initial session was extremely positive, therefore we have taken the opportunity to have them back to cover additional topics.

WA Student Assistance Scheme

Reminder that the WA Student Assistance Payment closes Friday 28th June 2024 .
This State Government initiative offers a cost-of-living payment for every student in Western Australia to provide financial relief and assist families with their children’s schooling.
You can claim $250 for each secondary student and $150 for students attending primary school or Kindergarten.
To claim the payments, parents and carers are encouraged to set up a ServiceWA account. More information is available at wa.gov.au/servicewaapp Please call ServiceWA Support Team 24/7 on 13 13 92 or email support@digital.wa.gov.au for more help.
What you need to claim
- The WA student number (WASN) for each student. This 8-digit number is sometimes called a SCSA or student number. This number can be found on school reports, IEP's. Or contact Durham Road School on 9238 0900.
- The name at time of enrolment, date of birth, school name, and year level of each student you are claiming for.
- The bank account details where the payment will be deposited.
Check all claim information carefully before submitting. Once submitted claims cannot be altered and will be declined if incorrect information is provided. If a claim is declined a new claim will need to be submitted.
All claims must be received by Friday 28 June 2024.

Satellite 1 & 2 Swimming at Durham Road School

Reminder that Satellilte 1 & Satellite 2 students commence swimming lessons at Durham Road School tomorrow morning, Wednesday 24th April.
Could all students please be dropped at Durham Road School at 8.30am wearing their bathers.
Students who utilize school bus services will be collected off the bus by Satellite 1 or 2 staff at Durham Road School.
If you have any questions please contact your classroom teacher.
Server Upgrade Satellite Classes

Next Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24
th April, we are receiving a new server upgrade affecting Satellite Classes at Embleton Primary School.
This will mean that our phones and computers will be out of use.
